On Lord Methuen’s motion the omitmiting of clause 2 from tlie Army Hill, forbidding county associations to give financial aid to cadet corps at elementary schools where the hoys are under 16 years of age. was carried O the House of Lords by 130 to 31, after Lords Huberts, Rosehury, and Lansdowne had supported it. * Lord Portsmouth said the motion was an implied breach of the financial rights ol tho House of Commons.
