The discussion on the Land Bill and its ramifications is getting on the nerves of some of our newspaper editors. Nothing else Svill account for the brilliant piece of mixed metaphor which one of them perpetrated the other day in declaring that “Mr McNali’s ewe lamb may, after all, survive parturition and grow into a comparatively harmless manhood.” Of course he nlay be right, hut, if so, that manly ewe should he secured as tlie nucleus of a museum of political monstrosities, —Observer,
