The Land Board to-day decided to notif” 23 holders of small sections near the township on the Flnxhourno settlement that they must reside according to the Act, or forfeit. It is hoped this decision will help the cause of the Blcnheini-Flaxbonrno railway. .There is not the least doubt that tho settlors, when they took up the sections two years ago believed tho Government intended to extend the railway at once. Work on the line lias not averaged a inilo per year for the last four years.
