Dr. Bell Government Geologist, who has visited Auckland province m connection with a geological survey, said he bo is very pleased with the possibilities of the north, particularly with the copper prospects brought under his notice, but- as bis observations were necessarily of so casual a nature, lie preferred to: leave a filial opinion until detailed -observations next, summer were completed.
