Press Association. WELLINGTON, last night. The Premier lias received the following cablegram from the President of the Board of Trade (Mr. Lloyd George):—“Your suggestions as to commercial agents in the colonies lias been approved bv the Government and the Imperial Parliament, and are now being carried out.” Speaking to a Post reporter the Premier said that this was a gratifying result of the suggestion made by him at tho Conference, and he was certain it would prove of groat usefulness to all British countries where these commercial representatives were'appointed. It would bring the colony into direct communication with the Board of Trade, and in that respect it Would give every section of the colony’s traders an equal opportunity of obtaining information which at times would only be got at very great cost, and it distinctly showed that the British Government and the President of the Board of Trade were anxious to assist in tlio'improvement and development of trade within the Empire.
