MOTORCAR ACCIDENT.
A MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. Press Association. HASTINGS, Saturday. A motor-car driven by Mr. T. E. Crosse was run into by a train when entering tho station this morning. Mr. Crosse endeavored to negotiate the creasing before (tho train approached, but the ear stopped oil the line. The fore part was struck by the engine The car was upset and Mr. Crosse had liis shoulder. blade broken. -Miss Smith a school-teacher, was seriously injured about the head and body. Mrs. Crosse and daughter escaped unhurt. Tlie occupants had a miraculous escape, as the engine threw tlie car clear of the train. The car was badly mutilated.
