In tlio Supromo Court yostorday in the caso of Moyniluin v. Hamerton a vordict was given for plaintiff for £225 with costs on tlio middle spnle. ’J.’ho parties are from Patca. Xho plaintiff lent £2BO on a property through the agency of defendant, who is a lawyer. Tlio jury found that defendant acted for plaintiff, and that he did not act as nil ordinnrilv prudent man. They found that the property was worth only £55, and accordingly awarded plaintiff tile balance. The dofenco was that Hainerton did liot'act for plaintiff.
