. . BERLIN, July. 2. During the progress of a yacht* race at- Kiel Herr Ytetgin’s yacht, from Hamburg, blanketed the Kaiser’s Meteor. The Kaiser ordered him to clear away, and afterwards lodged a protest. The Imperial Yacht Club dismissed the protest. The Kaiser was offended, and refused to distribute the prizes.

Advise from Guatemala states that President Ca'brera has ordered the arrest of 160, including many notable persons, on a charge of complicity’in the recent plot to assassinate him. Forty have been tried and several sentenced to death. The Diplomatic Corps lodged a protest against the proceedings.
