Press Association. » DUNEDIN, Yestorday. Tho Now Zealand Loan nnd Mercantile Agoncy Company, in conjunction with John Loudon, report having sold to F. D. Neavo and Son, of Rices Hon, Canterbury, the woll-known Wiiuruna, estate, comprising 9158 acres of freehold, together with stock and plant therein, at a highly satisfactory figuro. Tho Otago University dental school and hospital was oponoml yostordny without ceremony. Tho official opening will bo performed by tho Minister of Education, but no date will be fixed until tho arrival of the director (Dr. Pickorell). The AVollington Gas Company has decided to establish auxilary works at Miramar. The gas holder will cost £20,000. It is proposed to build a wharf at Evans’ Bay, and constructing a tram line from the wharf to nil immense ho-—or adjoining the works. An elevator will bo installed on tho outer edge of the wharf to facilitate the rapid handling of coal. It is estimated that during the next two or three years tho Company will expend fully £IOO,OOO in new work oi mains, etc.
