ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER.
Press Association.y WHAXGAREI, yesterday. Merry, l Karl Bradshaw.was charged at the Court tins morning with l the attempted murder of Allen Edward Bissett at Opuawlinnga yesterday', and was remanded.for eight days, as Bissett- is in a critical state. Accused a single man, aged 23, is a nephew of Bissett, and worked at’ the latter’s flaxmill. ;-He ;is alleged to have attacked Bissett. with, a sheath knife, and droveftto the hilt in tho left side and inflicted other serious wounds on the back, and arms. . James Aldred, who rushed, to*the fescue was also attacked, but wrested the’ knife from accused. Very 'faint hopes of Bissett’s recovery are entertained.
