HOCKEY.
The Ideal ladies’ hockey team play a match witli the Tarulieru College boys to-day. They have entered for a tournament to be held at Hastings from July 25tli to 31st. It is expected that about line or ten teams will compote, includin' the Craven College (Palmerston North), Mkroro, lima, Te Kooti, and Clive teams, and probably the Kiwi team (Wellington), winenrs of the N.Z. Hockey Association’s Cup. The men’s hockey matches for tomorrow have been postponed on account of the races.
