Press Association. STRATFORD, Saturday. W. Kohlies, a fireman on a Public Works Department engine on tho Huiroa section, was killed by a fall of earth in the Skinner road ballast pit this morning. Deceased leaves a widow and several children. DUNEDIN, Saturday. The .body of William McGlashan, about 50 years of age, was found at bis home, in Forth-street, this morning. Deceased was sitting in a chair with a double-barrelled breech-load-er between his legs. Apparently it was a case of suicide. He was single, and is supposed to have property both in Fortli-street and at Woodliaugh.
