Mr. Lloyd George has informed the Welsh Congregational Union that the Government intends to press the measure for the disestablishment ana disendowment of the Church of Wales through the House of Commons, if Parliament runs the normal period. If the House of Lords precipitates a general election the subject will hold a prominent position in the Govern- , ment’s programme.
