A private cablegram recei/ed in Wellington states that Miss Amy Murphy scored a brilliant suaciss on her first appearance with Mr. J. C. Williamson’s company in Melba.irne oil Saturday night. ‘ Mr. W. H. Herries, M.H.R. for Bay of Plenty, accompanied by Mrs. Herries, will pass through Gisborne bv the Waikaro to-day on his way to Wellington.
