United Press Association —Copyright SYDNEY, June 23. A deputation representing the New South Wales Country Press Association waited on Sir Joseph. Ward and congratulated him on ms efforts to secure a reduction of cable rates, oir Joseph Ward, in, reply, said he was pleased to know his efforts were approved. He was fully determined to continue the campaign. He knew the disabilities of the present system of press cables, and trusted the course lie decided on taking would not only prove acceptable to New Zealand, but beneficial to Australia, as .well as a forward move towards unity of the Empire. ■
