T>ROPOSAL by the Cook County Council to raise a Loan for the Erection of a Cart Bridge across the Pakarao River, and the Construction of the connecting roads. Tiie sum proposed to be borrowed is £3ooo—to be obtained in torms of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901. . The security to be given will be an Annual Special Rate of OneTwentieth of a Penny in tho £1 on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Tolaga Riding. The rate to be leviable for a poriod of 41 years, the rate of interest to be 4 per cent per annum. T , It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the Loan and the interest for one year, out of the Loan monies.
