LADIES’ EARS CUT OFF. BRUTAL ROBBERIES BY HOOLIGANS. Paris, April 7.—The latest exploits of the hooligans of Marseilles has struck terror into tho heart of every woman in that city. A few nights ago a woman on her •way Lome was suddenly, approached on tho Quai du Vieux Port by a stranger and asked to hand over her gold ear-rings. She started back in alarm, , and.:a minute later screamed and fell fainting to the footpath. When she was picked up by a policeman it was found that the lobe oj her left ear had been cut off, and the ear-ring with it. . _ .
