Miss Mary Carey, of Okato, was shopping in New ‘Plymouth, and, just prior to returning home she missed a roll of 30 £1 notes. She retraced her steps, calling at every shop she had visited during the day* The last on the list was Mr. C. O. Hawke’s, and tkero she found the roll awaiting her, and had her mind set at rest.
