Nelidoff, expressing grave apprehensions for the safety of ™ ie (Russian delegates at the 1 eace Convention, extraordinary police surveillance was arranged at tlieir residences. Police were also stationed under the Conference Hall, a small door at the corner of which, bolted and sealed, gives access in case ot danger. After each sitting the exit doors are sealed, the seals being officially broken for next sitting.
