SHARES FOR THE COLONIES. United Press Association—Copyright LONDON, June 19. In the House of Commons, in reply to Sir Howard Vincent, Mr. Asquith sai dt-he Government had not considered the desirability of offering Suez Canal shares to the Governments of Australia, New Zealand, India, and Natal, at the market rate in proportion to their interest in the canal. He did not think the suggestion practicable.
