The Government launch met the s.s Mooltan and conVeyed Sir Joseph Ward ashore; thence by special train they proceeded to Adelaide, where they were welcomed by the Premier and Mayor. The party aftci wards lunched with the Governor, proceeding to Melbourne by the Moolua i this afternoon. Sir Joseph leaves Sydney - by- tho Maheno direct for Wellington on Saturday. MELBOURNE, June 17. Sir Joseph and Lady Ward have arrived. Speaking at a luncheon gii en in his honor by. the ActiiigPiime Minister, Sir John Forrest, Sir Joseph Ward eulogised Mr. Deakin’s work at tljo Colonial Conference.
