FIRE BOARD.
Press Association. FEILDING, yesterday. At the first meeting of the Fcilding Fire Board all tho members were present. Mr. Fred. Pirani was electid chairman. Estimates of expenditure of a total of £3OO were agreed to. It was - decided _ to; ask the Government to base their contribution on one-seventli of the total expenditure.
