POVERTY BAY ROWING CLUB.
A SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL. The Poverty Bay Rowing Club’s Social, held at AVliinray’s Hall last evening, proved a successful function, a good number of members, supporters and lady friends attending. Dancing was participated in by about 50 couples, illiss Aloore presiding at tlio piano, and Air. J. Stewart officiating as AI.C. 'file arrangements made by tho secretary, Mr.' A,.Kirk, contributed to the pleasantness of the gathering It is hoped during the winter months to hold fortnightly dances in 'connection, with the club-
