AUCKLAND, last night. The state of the Polco Court building led Air. C. C. Kettle, S.M., to make some remarks on tho subject this morning. Two women, who had been living in a filthy condition in Durham-street, had just beon removed from the court, when his AVorship remarked that they should get tho placo fumigated at least once a weok. “I am informed,” ho wont on, “by scientific men that this- placo simply swarms with all sorts of gorms.” I once asked a gentloman to make an experiment, but lio said he was afraid of results which would probably drive everyone from coining coming near.”
