Press Association. DUNEDIN, yesterday. A very severe frost was experienced this morning. INVEKCARGILL, ycslerday. Mr. Hamm, M.H.R., has been advised that a decision lias been given in regard to the recent railway mishap at Waipalii. It is understood that the driver has been dismissed, and tbe fireman reinstated. A UCKLA ND, yesterd uy. The Nautical Court’s decision 1 n the collision betwen tile ltotoinahan»r and Kestrel absolved the Kestrel from blame, and ordered the Rotoinahaiiu to pay costs. In the collision between the steamer Kanieri and ketch Dawn, the Court apportioned, costs three-quarters to the Dawn and one-fourth to the Kanier. The Court did not deal with the certificates, these being the first eases in which the harbor regulations were in question. The Court expressed the opinion that Article 25 of tbe collision regulations relating to narrow channels applied to Auckland harbor entrance.
