SHAVERS v. SAVERS.

Tho return match, Hairdressers versus Trainees and Jockeys, will be played on Thursday at Victoria Domain, and a good game is expected. The Trainers and Jockeys, who have strengthened their ranks by the inclusion of four or five new men, feel confident of holding their own with the'crack Thursday team. As on the former occasion, the teams compete for a dinner, which will eventuate at Air. Dustin’s supper-rooms.

The Trainers and Jockeys will be represented by tlie following:—Fullback, Hemi Kara; three-quarters, Hutchinson, Hepburn, McLeod; fiveeighths, Porter, Murray; half; G. Jones; wing, Jas. Sceats; forwards, Hepburn, Newtown, Priestly, Adams, J. Jojies, Broadfiekl, and W. Woods. Emergencies: Tod Sloan and Tom Cannon.

The Tonsorial Artists will comprise the following:—Full-back, Emanuel; three-quarters, Wilkinson, McLachlan, Austin; five-eigliths, Isaac, Dustin;- half, A. Pirie; wing, C. Penman ; forwards, Ansell, Richards, Morse (captain), Tanner (2), Allen, and Carter. Emergencies : Whiskers and “The Man from Iron Bark.” A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. Press Association. DUNEDIN, yesterday, “llastus” Adams, a crack ’Varsity centre, came into collision with Given the Alhambra captain, on Saturday, and sustained such injuries that will prevent his again playing football.
