BOWLING.
The semi-final for the championship singles was played on Saturday afternoon at the Gisborne Club’s green between Ponsford and Bright. The game was well conducted all through and on the 21st head the players were level. Bright with his next bowl drew the shot and looked all over n winner, when Ponsford with a marvellous bowl took him out and lay 2, thus winninng the game.
