RESCUING A HORSE.
A young man named William Webb was charged before Mr Barton, S.M., yesterday morning, with rescuing a horse from the poundkeeper, Mr. T. Alston Coleman appeared for the prosecution, and stated that the poundkeeper was in the act of putting a rope round the horse’s neck when lie was gripped ft'om behind by accused and the horso got away.
