Mr. D. McGrogor who previously had refused to sign the document attended and stated that ho was willing now to sign at any timo. In reply to a question lio said his reason for refusing to sign tlio declaration was that the Rugby Union had never doubted his amateur status before and be saw no reason why tlioy should doubt it. this year. 110 wished to say nothing about the professional team and declined to divulge anything Unit, might have taken place. He was prepared to sign now simply because the other players were signing. It was agreed to forward McGregor’s replies to the New Zealand Union for their consideration.
