WARSHIPS CARRYING MAILS
PARIS, Juno 2.
The strike has paralysed shipping at Marseilles, Toulon, Havre, Bordeaux, and otiier ports, depriving Paris of colonial produce. Torpedo boats and transports are conveying mails and perishable produce from Algiers and Tunis.
British firms are arranging for the entire Channel service if the Calais and Dieppe boats are withdrawn.
