Press Association. DUNEDIN, last night. At the police court to-day', Jas.
Barber, Otago agent or the Christchurch Meat Co., was fined £2 and costs on a charge of allowing offensive material -to be placed on their paddock at Burnside, so as to interere with the health, comfort and convenience of passers-by.
Alex. Bagley, chemist, pleaded guilty to a technical breach of the Sale of'Poisons Act by spiling a liniment containing aconite without’entering it in liis poison book and was fined Is without costs.
