During the past week a number of games in the competition for the Champion Cup have been played at the above club’s green, with the folio vfing results:—. ** Fifth round: Sawyer defeated Nasmith, senr. Seventh round: Martin defeated Hallam; Sawyer defeated Colley. * Eighth round : Hallam defeated Nasmith, senr. Ninth round: Nasmith, feated Skeet; \ Sawyer defeated Jeune.
Tenth round: Sawyer defeated Hepburn. Eleventh round: Hepburn defeated Skeet.
.Twelfth round:- Nasmith, senr., defeated McConnell. Thirteenth round: Skeet. defeated Nasmith, jun. The following is the position of the various players after the sixth week’si play:
