AN INSANE MURDERER
SENTENCE OF DEATH PASSED
United Press Association —Copyright Rocoived May 30, 11.8 p.in. SYDNEY, May 30. Richard Riloy, who killed Rose Arnold 15 months ago, has boon sentenced to death. At the time of the numi*cr~Vitey was placed in an asylum as insane. Tho medical evidence showed that ho was suffering from delusional mania. Ho recently recovered his sanity. At the trial prisoner made a statement th'at tho insanity was produced by mental troubles occasioned by the girl. Ho did not fed as a guilty man, nor did ho boar a guilty conscience. It had pleased God to doprivo him of reason, and Ho would not hold him responsible for what lie did in that state.
