Press Association. AVELLINGTON, last night. The Government representatives on the Eire Boards at the four centres under the Fire Brigades Act liavo been appointed as follows :—AA’ellington, Air. J. AlcKerrow, ex-Survcyor General and Chairman of the Land Purchase Board; Auckland, Air. D. Goldie, timber merchant; Christchurch, Air. H. R. Ruslibridge, builder; Dunedin, Air. J. Arklo, who was until the end of Alarcli Chairman of a sub-committee of the Dunedin City Council, which had charge of brigade matters.
