ROUGH WEATHER.
The boisterous weather experienced during the last couple of days was much improved yesterday, although the cold was very much in evidence. The sea, however,-is. still very choppy, and the Delphic, which arrived yesterday morning, was seen to bo pitching and tossing considerably, and loading operations were delayed till to-day. The Waikare got away in the' morning for the south, and Ijhe Moura is carrying on her 70 tons of Gisborne cargo, which she will bring on her return from Auckland. The Putiki was able to leave yesterday morning for Westport.
United Press Received May 30, 11.20 p.m. SYDNEY, May 30. The Mokoia experienced a heavy south-west, gale for the first three days of her trip across.
Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. The weather, which lias been bitterly cold and bleak, has now cleared. The sea lias moderated. A heavy . frost occurred last night and to-niglit. A good deal of snow fell over central Taranaki last night. WANGANUI, Wednesday. The weather is still very rough.
