Tho elections ol two gentlemen io fill tho vacancies on the Boiough Council and Harbor Board, took place yesterday. A fair amount ol interest was taken in the ■ polling, but tlioro was no excitement, and barely more than halt the vote's qualified exercised their right. Mr. H. M. When the decision was announced Mr. Pettie was called for, and he brijofly returned thanks to the electors for the confidence placed in him. It would be his earnest endeavor to bo a worthy councillor. •Mr. Harris was not present.
