SHIPPING.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Waikaro avrived in the bay last night, but on account of the heavy weather no attempt will be made to tender till 6 o’clock this morning. The following passengers liavo been booked for South: Misses Orr, Stafford, Gray ; Mesdames Hutchinson, Rice; Messrs Arthur, Woodhead, Ballantyno, Lockhead, Shepley, Cox, Lee, Cooper, Munro, Low, AlcLernon, Williams, Stafford, Taylor, Alajor Glover; Masters Gaddum, Orr, Gray (2), Davis. The U.S.S. Co.’s Aloura attempted to leave Wellington for North yesterday morning, but was compelled to put back owing to the heavy weather prevailing. The steamer was expected to leave at 2 p.iu., and if this intention was carried out she should arrive to-night or to-morrow morning. -
The s.s. Kotuku .left Westport at 9.30 a.m. for Gisborne direct with a cargo of coal, and it expected on Friday. The Shaw, Savill anti Albion Co.’s s.s. Delphic has not put in an appearance, and it is expected that she proceeded to Napier, and will return to Gisborne later.
The Tyser steamer Niwaru is detained at Napier until the weather improves. The auxiliary schooner ICaeo leaves for Auckland via Coast ports on Saturday (weather permitting).

Perth, 29.—New Zealand passengers per Alararoa: Alcssrs AlcGrossar, Hart, Russell, Morgan (2), Captain Tower, Mesdames Russell and two children, Morgan, Misses Russell (2).
