Of 765 resolutions in favor of Imperial preference forwarded to the colonial Premiers, 259 were from branches of the •“ Tariff Reform Leagues or Associations, while the remainder, from meetings of a more general character, included 38 working men’s clubs, and 45 women’s associations.
