STRATFORD, yesterday.
The Egmont Clothing Company’s premises in Broadway were totally destroyed by fire early on Sunday morning. Two shops adjoining, owned by Lambert, and unoccupied, were considerably damaged. The insurance on the Egmont Co.’s stock was £BOO in the State Office. The building belonged to Curnow’s estate, and the insurances are unavailable.
