The Valuor-Gonoral wrote enclosing advices enabling certain assessments to be entered on tlio roll for tho Mata spooial rating district.—Received. The New Zealand Counties Association wrote stating that a conference would bo held in Wellington on July 9tli, forwarding tho agenda paper and requesting that tho names of tho Council’s dologatos bo forwarded to the secretary.—Roeeived. The Chief Veterinarian wroto acknowledging receipt of applications for renewals of slaughtor-liouso licenses.—Received.

Tho application of Mr. J. S. Jamieson, Tc/komaru Bay, for a ronewal of his slaughter-house liconso, was approved. Accounts amounting to £704 woro passed for payment.
