LABOR IN AUSTRALIA

MR. DEAKIN’S REMARKS.

Press Association —Copyright. MELBOURNE, May 23.

A strong feeling continues in Labor circles regarding Mr. Deakin’s recent utterances in England. Mr. Prendergast declared that Mr. Deakm had been particularly ungrateful, like a dog that turns and bites the hand that feeds it. He was put in power and kept in power by the Labor party.
