The householders of the undermentioned Soliool Districts having rospootivoly failed to elect a School Committee upon tho annual day of meeting, it is hereby notified, in accordance with Section 114 of tho Education Act, 1904, and its amendments, that tho Education Board iur the District of Hawke’s Bay liavo appointed MONDAY, tho 3rd day of JONff, 11907, as tho timo for tho nominations, and MONDAY, the 10th day of JUNE, 1907, at 7.30 o’clock in the evening, as tho time for tho oloctioh respectively of Committees for such undermentioned schools, and have also appointed the Schoolliouso in each district as the place of mooting of housoholders. Tho number to bo elected to ouch Committee mentioned in tho first scliodulo is NINE, to those mentioned in tho second schedule heroto SEVEN, and to those mentioned in tho third scliodulo hereto EIVE. The liousolioldors within the several school districts aro hereby called upon tto send in writing to tho respective Chairmen of tlio sovoral School Committees, on or beforo MONDAY, tho 3rd day of JUNE, 1907, jby pofet or delivered, so as to bo delivered not later than 8 o’clock in tho ovenin'g, tho names of persons boing resident housoholders nominated by them for election to sorvo upon tho Committeo for tho year next ensuing, and Rafter tho mooting of householders tho Committeo elected shall hold its first : meeting, and thorbat elect one of its number to bo Chairman for the year.
