BILLS OF LADING FOR FROZEN MUTTON.

DISSATISFACTION WITH ' WEIGHTS.

Press "Association. BLENHEIM, yesterday. The sheep-owners of the district have formed a strong committee to demand, from the Christchurch Meat

Company the right of handling their own bills of lading in respect to frozon mutton, and lamb. A deputation is to wait on the directors this week, and if the request is declined it is intended to tako other steps. There is great and gonoral dissatisfaction at the price por lb. for freezers as compared with that in Canterbury. While the average woights of lamb in Marlborough last quarter were only 11b. per carcase loss than North Canterbury, the price per lb. was 1-Jd less.
