NATIVE LANDS COMMISSION.
PATIENCE URGED. Press Association. AUCKLAND, last night. Sir Robert Stout, who arrived in Auckland on Sunday, leaves for Te ICuiti on "Wednesday, where he will open the King Country sittings of the Native Land Commission on Thursday. Mr A. T. Ngata, M.H.R., who has been weather-bound at Gisborne, is expected to reach Auckland on Thursday. A great deal of data in connection with the King Country lands has already been prepared, and
it is expected that tlio sittings thoro will be concluded in about ton days. ! Speaking to-day to a Herald reporter regarding the probable effect of the Commissioners’ labors on tlio settlement of nativo lands, Sir ltobort Stout said:—‘‘There is no doubt tlio lands will bo settled, but it will, of course, tako a little time. Pooplo must not bo impatient and expect everything" all at oneo.”
