Ruru arrives this morning from Napier and returns in the evening. . , The U.S.S. Co.’s Whangape arrived from Wellington yesterday morning with coal for Gisborne and leaves for Napier this evening. . The scow Welcome left for Auckland yesterday morning. Tho auxiliary schooner Kereru was to attempt to leave for Te Araroa last night owing to the apparent improvement in the weather. Messrs. Huddart-Parker Co.’s s.s. Zealaudia arrives from Auckland and Sydney on Wednesday afternoon and proceeds south. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera arrives from south to-morrow morning am leaves for AucklanH. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrives early this morning from Auckland and after discharge leaves for Napier.

Eighteen passengers were landed and 98 proceeded. Auckland: Arrived: 1.30 a.m., Zealandia, from Sydney. She met with strong, head winds to moderate gale throughout. Sailed, 6 p.m., Victoria, for Sydney. East Cape: Squall passed south at ' p.m.

Napier: To sail, Ruru, 8 p.m., for Gisborne.
