At the wool sales the following were the average prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: Richmond 9gd. Kawaran IOJd, loporangi lljjd. The quantity sold lor the Home buyers was 01,000 bales, for the Continent! 51.000, and lor the United States 4000. Fifteen thousand bales were held over. Merinos mot strong demand throughout for all medium to best, and at the close were 5 per cent. . above March rates. Short faulties . barely maintained March rates. [ Crossbreds fully recovered the open-, ing decline. All classes are now fully , equal to March rates. Good merino : lambs advanced from par to o per , cent. Faulty declined 5 per cent. | Crossbreds declined id. I
