Bright, at the Borough Council meeting last night, suggesting that the County Council' join the Borough regarding a bridge over the Waimata at or near Harris Street.

Mr. W. Pettie has been approached with a view to contesting the election for the vacant seat on the Borough Council, and Mr. J. W. Bright has baen asked to stand for election to the Harbor Board.
