LONDON, May 8. His Majesty the King confers Pricy Councillor,ships on the Premiers on Friday, and has invited them and their ladies to tea at Buckingham
Palace. Mr. Deakin has accepted an honorary bcnchership of Grey’s Inn, membership of the Middle Temple, and the freedom of Manchester and Edinburgh, but declines a Privy Councillorship. Sir Joseph Ward accepts a Doclorship ol Laws of Dublin University.
