Tlio U.S.S. Co.’s llnupiri arriv'd from Auckland via Coast ports at. 6 o’clock last night and left at 10 p.m. lor Napier and Westport Us-load coal at the latter port for Gisborne. Passengers from the Coast: Misses East, Howler, Page; Mesdamcs Taylor, Kirk and child, Dick and child, Smith. Murphy and family (4); Messrs. Kirk, Williams and Murphy. Owing to the heavy weather TokoDiaru could not be worked and a ten tons of cargo lor that port will be discharged upon the vessel’s return. The vessel’s cargo for Gisborne consisted of about 20 tons general and a quantity ot wool. The U.S.S. Co.’s Waunka arrives

this morning from Bluff, via coast, with produce ant! proceeds to Auckland. The last launch leaves lit 9 a.m.

Tlio U.S.S. Co.’s collier Kainpoi left nt 4 p.m. yesterday for Napier. The Mannpouri, which has been im- ■ dergoing ail overhaul at Fort- Chalmers, is being fitted with a new funnel. The auxiliary sohoonor Fairburn (Oapt. Fletcher), bound from Napier to Tokomaru and Auckland, put in yesterday morning for shelter and to

obtain a surf boat for use at Tokomaru. The schooner left Napier on Saturday morning and arrived at eight o’clock yesterday morning. The vessel has 2000 posts and 800 hardwood poles for Tokomaru and leaves for that port this morning. After discharging, she proceeds to Auckland and returns to Gisborne with 80,000 bricks, probably making two trips. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall is expected from Auckland and Tolaga Bay on to-day’s tide and leaves for Napier at 5 p.m. The s.s. Rani returned to Napier at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, taking two motor-cars. Messrs. Huddart', Parker and Co.’s Victoria arrives from Auckland and Sydney to-morrow afternoon and proceeds south.

The U.S.S. Co.’s Tara we ra arrives from Napier and South to-morrow morning and goes on to Auckland. The auxiliary schooner .Kaeo (Capt. J. 11. Skinner) left Auckland on Friday, 3rd for Gisborne via Coast ports, with a large general cargo.
