HOCKEY.
At, a meeting of the Poverty Bay Hockey Association held last night it was decided to postpone the opening day till the 16th inst., as the giound was not available before then. A letter from the Auckland Hockey Association asking for a date for a representative match was held over for further consideration. A large amount of routine business was also done.
